The Ultimate Ultra-Premium Shred-Anything Snowboard
Behold! The Mega Merc is the consummate anytime, any-place, all-terrain, snow-slaying device. Inspired by the Mercury series' on-slope versatility, the Mega Merc mimics that proven technical design with serious Mega-tier construction upgrades.
3D Thermopolymer Starship Core™
Advanced electronic sorting system selects mega-premium, reforestation-certified Poplar graded by weight and grain consistency. Comparable to Paulownia in strength-to-weight ratio. Bonded post-consumer recycled Thermopolymer channels form an advanced hybrid core. The 3D version adds structural refinement for unparalleled all-mountain performance.
Hybrid Carbon HolySheet™ Tri/Tri Megacarbon™ Resin
The latest breakthrough from The Mothership™ — carbon additives interwoven directly into HolySheet™ fiberglass. Tri/Tri layup (triaxial top + triaxial bottom) for symmetrical response vs. Mercury's Tri/Bi. Megacarbon™ Magic Bean™ resin for cleaner construction. Substantial enhancement in layup precision and notable reduction in weight.
MegaDrive™ XT Sintered Base
Pure race base — UHMW polyethylene modified with high carbon content and special fluoro additives for lightspeed gliding in a wide range of conditions. The XT designation means increased thickness for enhanced durability. Capita's most advanced base material — as fast as science can make it.
Megalite Skin™ Topsheet
Super thin yet durable matte lamina for 60% weight reduction over Capita's regular topsheets. The Mega Merc's ultralight topsheet complements the 3D Starship Core and MegaDrive XT base for an ultra-premium ultralight build.
Resort V2 Directional + Flat Kick Tech
Revolutionary all-terrain shape — raised camber platform through the inserts for high-speed edge hold through variable terrain, elevated contact points to land and float in powder, and Flat Kick tip and tail arcs for faster, more aggressive transitions.
Directional Shape · 0.5" Setback
True directional shape with 0.5" setback — designed for power when you want it and float when you need it. The Mega Merc mimics the Mercury's proven geometry with Mega-tier construction upgrades — same shape, ultra-premium components.
New Age Progressive Death Grip™ Sidecut
Capita's premium sidecut technology — progressive Death Grip locks in edge hold on firm snow while letting the nose release smoothly for natural turn initiation. Built for the Mega Merc's all-mountain / freeride focus on charging hard.
Moonshot Omni-Tune™ Base Structure
Aftermarket high-performance race-base structure that wicks water from the base at a 45° angle — keeps the board fast in fresh snow, spring slush, and wet conditions. Factory-direct grind on every Mega Merc for consistent, lightspeed glide.
