The CAPiTA Youth Brigade is the snowboard for the next generation — the young and hungry shredders ready to take their resort and park riding to elevated levels. With a true twin shape (0 taper), durable SPECIAL BLEND™ construction, Poplar + Beech core, and the XXX[TRUDED] extruded base for low maintenance, the Youth Brigade is built to handle the abuse of learning-to-ride while keeping the performance that makes snowboarding fun.
True Twin Shape (0 Taper)
The Youth Brigade features a true twin shape (0 taper on all sizes — confirmed by identical nose/tail measurements: 27.5/27.5, 27.8/27.8, 28.1/28.1, 28.4/28.4). This symmetrical shape lets young riders learn switch riding, spin off jumps, and land tricks in either direction. Perfect for the developing rider who's learning the fundamentals of freestyle.
Kids-Specific SPECIAL BLEND™ Construction
This custom SPECIAL BLEND™ configuration makes for a more durable yet lightweight board while providing the flexibility for kids to play on fun stuff like park jumps, bumps and boxes. The Youth Brigade's construction is specifically tuned for young riders — durable enough to handle the abuse of learning, flexible enough to make progression fun, and lightweight enough for smaller riders to maneuver easily.
Poplar + Beech Core
Poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with Beech for increased power and durability. Newly reengineered to taper between the insert packs for a more forgiving flex. The Youth Brigade's core is built for the developing rider — the tapered between inserts provides a softer tip and tail for pressability and easier turn initiation while maintaining strength through the bindings for edge hold and stability.
XXX[TRUDED] Extruded Base
If there's one thing we know about kids and groms, it's that they can be hard on their gear and they're never going to wax their snowboard. The XXX[TRUDED] base material is a high density extruded base material that is durable and low maintenance. The relative surface strength equals a base that will withstand the abuse of learning — built for kids who don't want to fuss with base care.
